Spill The Lyric Videos
Sometimes words need a place of their own. Our lyric videos put the lyrics from our songs in Spill The Musical front and center, giving you a chance to follow every word and discover even more of the story being told through our lyrics. Because in Spill, the lyrics aren’t just words set to music . . . they are part of the storytelling itself. Songs Inspired By Spill Videos
They say, “Art imitates life” . . . Whether it’s a painting, a drawing, a statue, a mosaic, a TV show, a movie . . . or even sometimes songs in a Broadway musical . . . there is so much truth to that statement. Especially when it comes to the songs inside our musical . . . and the music that Spill birthed. But Spill did not stop, and will never stop, with only the songs inside of our musical. Because what inspired these songs, as that old expression says, is life . . . And . . . the lives inside and outside of it . . . Spill will always continue to inspire new songs that might not be in the musical, but are equally as meaningful . . . because Spill is about life . . . our life. These songs and videos — coming soon — were, or will be, born from, connected to, or inspired by the world, characters, stories and ideas surrounding Spill. Whether these songs are written by our very own songwriters, by close friends, or . . . maybe even you . . . We want to give you a place to share your heart and your voice through these new songs Spill inspires. And because these new songs are being brought into the world to continue inspiring those who follow Spill — and hopefully, the world — we knew they deserved their own special place . . . And that place is right here . . . on this page.

The Song That Ignited Spill: He Was
IWould you believe that one song could become the catalyst that would unexpectedly ignite Spill The Musical? On this page, you will find out exactly how a song called “He Was,” co-written in Nashville with Number One Songwriter Adam Dorsey, became the kindling that would set something completely unforeseen in motion . . . our musical. Our writer for Spill never could have expected that this one song he would co-write in Nashville, would become more than just a song . . . that “He Was” would open a door, uncover a story, and begin something he never realized was waiting to be created. What began with one simple song, birthed from a very profound and deeply personal place, would eventually help ignite a much bigger story . . . one filled with characters, relationships, heartbreak, hope, laughter, love, and life. This is where we go back to one of the places where it all began . . . and tell the story of that exact song that ignited Spill. And once you discover the moving story behind “He Was” . . . and how this very special, poignant song helped ignite Spill . . . at the bottom of this page, you’ll finally be able to listen to “He Was” . . . A Personal Note From Jesus
He Was. This is the song that ignited Spill. Without this song Spill The Musical . . . How To Be A Hepburn In A World of Kardashians would not exist. And even though He Was is not in our musical, it is a very important part of Spill for this very reason. Last night, as I was putting the music video for He Was up on our website in its own place of honor, I found myself getting emotional in a way I never expected. Even now, as I write this, I feel myself getting choked up all over again . . . because it hit me, all over again, that He Was is in the foundation that would eventually become Spill- I just didn't know it at the time . . . And, He Was . . . it's a very special song with very deep, personal meaning . . . A special song . . . With special meaning about the most special people in my life, who are woven in the early threads of how this all started. And, this story is worth sharing, because it clearly demonstrates that God does work in mysterious ways . . . And, I hope you will keep that in mind as you llsten to He Was and as you read the story that started it all . . . just a little bit up the road on these upcoming pages. -Jesus Estrada Producer, Bookwriter & Songwriter, Spill
